Can you use this with a guitar?

you plug the guitar plug into the guitar and the other to a receiver or stereo....will this work???
The cord in your link is three circuit, for a stereo jack. I doubt if your guitar has a stereo output jack, but I am not sure. I think it will have a mono 2 circuit jack. You will want a mono cord, then buy a Y adapter so you can plug it into both left and right channels of the stereo. I'll look for the cord and come back and post a link.
You can do it with the two items. The links just show you what they look like.
To get the volume you need you will probably want to plug into the mag or phono inputs on the Stereo, or microphone if it has them.
