Samples Drum
The award for most improved, The Electronic Drum
There are many different associations that can be done with the word "drum". Depending on your age, where in the world you are and what kind of music you hear, nothing a photo of the Caribbean steel drum to a Chinese "fou" drum when hearing the word. Yes, there are many parties to the instrument commonly known as "drum". But I must admit I am curious to know How many people when asked what they associate with that word, it came with the drum machine.
If a traditional drum used all vintage acoustic vibrations to produce sound, a drum machine uses a waveform or electronic sampler. Instead of an instrument with a shell and a drum, these instruments have electronic drum pads. These pills contain either piezoelectric transducers (transducers that using crystals to generate electric potentials in response to applied mechanical stress) or force sensitive resistors (to two terminals of electronic components that can prevent the electric current, output voltage of a crash). Although this is perhaps more than most People want to know, the result is that when one of these pills is defeated, the voltage change is triggered in one of these components. This product signals which are transmitted to an electronic drum module, or "drum brain." The brain translates the signals into wave which in turn produce the sound of percussion is the platform that he had been beaten. So, leaving aside all the technical jargon, electronic drums used exactly the drums regularly except that you must connect first.
electronic drums have existed since the early 1970s. Graeme Edge, drummer and composer of the band The Moody Blues and Professor Brian Groves of Sussex University pioneered the first electronic drum kit for his 1971 album of the band. This kit and their relatives had at the beginning of a series of faults, including the fact that the sound was only a very approximate replica of the real acoustic drum sound. There was also complaints of the limited range of tonal subtlety and dynamics. Accordingly, the first electronic drums in the early decades has been spent in the genres rock, disco and techno, where they could be used to create a specific rhythm without having to worry about stamps.
However, recent advances have greatly improved the quality of acoustic drum kits. Syndrum Pollard, Simmons and Yamaha now produce all the professional teams of the reputation of being almost impossible to distinguish the sound of acoustic kits. Other manufacturers Boom theory, drum technique, in an alternative and a host of others. Improvements have included elements such as more realistic hi-hats, a better quality of digital samples and detection of dynamic impact.
As the drum machine has improved, the ranks his fans have also increased. Today, the list of professional musicians who use or have used the electronic drum is a respectable and includes: Phil Collins Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, Roger Taylor of Queen, Stuart Elliot of The Alan Parsons Project Rieflin REM, Alex Van Halen and more.
